Who is Fourth Ray Software?

Fourth Ray Software is a privately-owned software development and publishing company located in Houston, Texas. We produce productivity software tailored toward the individual Microsoft® Windows® PC user. All software is ours; we do not publish or sell third-party software. Fourth Ray Software is owned by Peter Vanvliet.

A Brief History

Peter Vanvliet started Visual Sage, Inc. in August of 2001. The company was renamed to Fourth Ray Software in late 2004. Our first product, LinkCheck™, was released under Visual Sage and was later renamed to FRSLinkCheck™. At the time of the company name change, FRSLibrary™ was well under way and it was released in late 2005. FRSGiftRegistry™, FRSProductPages™, FRSPCShutdown™, and FRSPCReboot™ were all released in 2006. During 2007 and 2008 we focused mainly on upgrading all of our products to a common user interface standard, and to include the automatic upgrade feature. During 2009 we announced two brand new products, FRSCalendar™ and FRSWebSpell™, and continued to improve our other products.
