Today's release of a new version of FRSLibrary™ fixes some issues found with the application, adds two new media types, and makes it possible to change the color scheme of the various user interface components. If you are using Windows® 7 Professional and you installed FRSFileMgr in the default directory, you will need to manually download the application's installation program and run it to be able to upgrade to the latest version.

Today we are pleased to release version 2.1 of FRSFileMgr™. This version fixes a number of issues found in the previous version. It also adds the ability to enter notes associated with files in the new "Notes" column of the main window. Several new menu commands have been added, as well as the ability to change the color scheme used for various user interface components, so that you can personalize FRSFileMgr.

A new major version of FRSFileMgr™ has been released today. Although the application still looks very much like the previous version, there have been so many updates that we decided to make it a new major version. You will find often-used features easier to use, and the application to be more responsive. There are also some new features, such as natively-supporting viewing, extracting, and generating .zip (compressed) files, viewing Google Chrome temporary files, and the ability to select which icon you want to use for a particular file type.

The main new feature is the ability to spell-check text you've entered. Another major improvement is that previous versions only let you filter reports by categories, however this new version supports filtering on any data, allowing you to create some very tailored reports, both in print and web form.
