This set of pages captures information about how I handlay S-scale track. I use Micro Engineering code 83 unweathered rail for all my track. These come in 3-foot pieces and retail for around $1.50 to $1.85 per rail. My Ceiling Tile Roadbed article covers how I build my subroadbed. After the ceiling tiles are in place, I paint them with an earth-tone latex paint to keep their dust in and to keep any moisture out. The rest of my track construction is described in these pages.
