I am starting to make some progress toward installing front fascia and backdrop panels. The middle section of this small layout will mostly be rolling hills covered by trees. That being the case I can go ahead and start to work on "dressing up" this part of the layout. The photo below shows four pieces of plywood being glued to the roadbed support boards. These will provide the support for the Masonite hardboard front and back panels. The back panel can be seen in the photo. It is 13 inches (33 cm) tall. The front panel (cut, but not shown) is 7 inches (17.8 cm) tall.
