I routed the 14-gauge bus wires through the holes. The wires on the top are for the track power, and the wires on the bottom are for the accessories power supply.

It was then just a simple matter of connecting the DCS 100 (Digitrax Chief) command station to the two bus wires to provide the DCC track power. I used "suitcase" connectors to connect the unit to the bus wires.

In much the same way I connected a 12-volt 1-amp wall power supply to the accessories bus wires. This will provide power for all the animation and lighting effects on this layout.
