I've been busy debugging the track in the Bear Creek area, and also doing some work on the trees. This photo shows the progress so far.



The next photo shows the new trees around the Woods Furniture factory.



More trees are sprouting up as we speak. There is a screwdriver in the photo to hold one of the recently-planted trees upright while the glue dries. It is amazing the effect a handful of trees has on the atmosphere of the layout. Things are more mysterious now that the train disappears from sight every once in a while behind the trees. The lush, dark-green trees really set the time frame as summer time (the photo below is slighly over-exposed).
