All the cork has been installed on the lower level of the center and left-hand sections of the layout. This next photo shows the left-hand side where the lower track comes off of the center section. The large flat area in the foreground will be a harbor scene in the future.



The next photo shows the center section. The lower level track has been "corked", and the upper level track is only partially done. I just wanted to put enough cork down to have some track coming off of the turnout so that I can test the turnout.



Before going on to the next step, I did some quality control of the cork installation and found a couple of spots where the cork wasn't glued down properly. I marked them with a pen and I will slice an opening in the "bubble" and put some more glue down under the bubble.
