How It Works

FRSPCReboot™ triggers your computer to reboot itself. Very simple. Microsoft has made a simple task so complicated, especially if you are the only one using your computer. On Windows XP, for example, you have to click the "Start" button, then click "Turn Off Computer", and then, finally, you have to click the "Restart" button to actually reboot your computer. If you have the FRSPCReboot installation program create an icon on the Desktop, you can just double-click it to have your computer reboot!

FRSPCReboot triggers all applications to exit gracefully. If they have unsaved data, you will be prompted to save the data. FRSPCReboot does the exact same thing your normal computer reboot procedure does, except for all those extra steps!

If you use command-line batch files, you can easily integrate FRSPCReboot and have your batch file automatically reboot the computer.

Never put a shortcut to FRSPCReboot in your Windows "Startup" group! Your computer will boot up and immediately reboot again! You'll never gain access to it! You have been warned!

System Requirements

FRSPCReboot requires a miniscule 740Kb of storage space on your computer. It has been designed to run on all editions of the following operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Note: you must be logged on as a user authorized to shut down the computer (most users are).

Install/Un-install

Our software installs cleanly with minimal fuss, and usually without requiring a re-boot. You can easily and completely remove the application using the standard Windows Control Panel "Add/Remove Programs", or "Programs and Features" on Windows 7.

Download

The installation program for FRSPCReboot is approximately 316KB in size (takes less than a minute to download on DSL or cable connections). When prompted, be sure to click the "Save" button to store the FRSPCReboot installation program onto your computer's disk drive. All of our installation programs are routinely tested by third-parties for viruses, so you can rest assured that you are downloading a clean installation program. When the download completes, open the folder wherein you stored the file, and then double-click the file ("FRSPCRebootInstall.exe") to start the installation program. Our installation programs are simple and straightforward. We have a step-by-step download guide.

The installation program installs a file called "Notes.txt" (see the Documentation link set up by the installation program). It contains some helpful information with regard to FRSPCReboot. We recommend that you read it at least once.
